Marvelous Me Ages 2 - 4 with parent
July 14-17 All the ways a child playson a playground, in a playroom, and the special relationship that grows between a child and stuffed bear as they play togetheris a central learning theme. Focused listening activities, pretending to play like toys at play, active movement, and music-making all “play” together in our classroom. (Home Materials include a mini-tambourine.)
Let’s Play Ages 3 - 4 without parent
July 21-24 In this age of self-discovery, we’ll sing songs about all things that sprout up and grow, such as tadpoles into frogs, acorns into trees, and baby brothers into big brothers. You’ll love the bouncy, flouncy, calypso, and ukulele musical sounds. (Home materials instrument to be announced.)
Giggles Ages 4 - 6 without parent
July 28-31 Knock-knock. Who’s there? Musical learning. Some of the things kids don’t normally think of as instruments to make music will hit just the right toneand funny boneof your child. We’ll laugh and giggle while we explore musical concepts of tempo, such as largo and presto. We’ll also use some interesting items from the folk music genre. (Home materials include a harmonica.)
