More than just a curious story, Mother Goose games like peek-a-boo help your baby understand language. So in this special camp, uncover more ways to say "I love you" using American Sign Language, soap bubbles, and parent-baby dances. Plus, you can meet with other newborns and families in the community and learn how music improves the child development process. for Children With Special Needs

2 to 7 years with caregiver, 30-minutes of class time plus 30-45 minutes of free play,

Thursdays at 1:00, 4 weeks, July 1-July 22: $100

While all Kindermusik classes at our studio are designed to include every child at every developmental level, this particular class is for children with special needs with a parent or caregiver. We will sing, dance, play, spin, rock, sign and sway our way into new friendships, new skills and new connections. We’ll explore all the ways we play—at home, in the school yard, during our family time together. In class we’ll play “Follow the Leader” and other playground games to help your child develop listening and musical skills while strengthening movement and hand-eye coordination. In your Home Kit, find more activities, songs, and games you can do together to play and learn at home, too. The Home Kit includes a Mini Tambourine, Home CD, and magazine-style Family Guide (includes the class story Golden Bear).

Children and trains make a natural match—always on the move. Tag along this summer with a traveling zoo train. Bring your own stuffed animals for the petting zoo. Wear long white socks on your hands for polar bear paws and learn about real animals in the zoo. Do crafts as a family. Sing songs for clapping time, and use music to help your toddler regulate emotions. Home Materials include: Book, CD, Shaker Animal, and Poster.

Tell Me a Tale

Through storytelling, your child will develop an early awareness of rhythm, movement, singing and drama. Each lesson features a new tale from around the world, explored through multi-instrument and multi-cultural elements. All told, it’s an around-the-imagination adventure of the greatest stories from Europe, Malaysia, South Africa and more. Home materials include: multi-cultural Home CD, hardcover picture storybook, home activities poster, and a pair of lummi sticks.

ABC Music& Me: All Keyed Up!
60 minutes, 4 days with crafts, $95

A piano and the well-known composer, J.S. Bach, give your child an introduction to the keyboard. The answer is right at the tip of your fingers. The same fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination your preschooler needs to hold a pencil—are developed through the special keyboard-playing activities we’ll be playing in class. At the same time you’ll be expanding your child’s musical education with the introduction of many famous composers. ABC Music& Me: Jumping Beans!
60 minutes, 4 days with crafts, $95

In class, your child’s memory and sequence skills will strengthen with stop-and-go activities—all set to the music of Latin  America. Tucked into stories and pretend play activities, stop-and-go games help your preschooler control body motions and follow directions on the go. Share the stories and activities in your Home Kit and you’ll strengthen self-discipline skills at home, too. Confetti Days
90 minutes—parent joins for last 30 minutes, 5 days with snack and crafts. $155

Throw a new party every day. Ride a carousel inside the classroom. Play a balancing game and walk on the web of ropes. Be a clown. Ride your bike all around town. Do colorful, creative crafts with mom or dad. Learn colors and sing the Spanish song "De Colores," Sing "Pop Goes the Weasel," and "Looby Loo." Home Materials include: CD, pair of Confetti Bells, and story kit.
