Leslie Waddell is the founder and owner of Music for Little Hands and has been a Kindermusik Educator for ten years. She began her musical education as a flute student at the age of ten and went on to earn her Bachelor of Music Degree in flute performance at the New England Conservatory. She currently performs with the New Haven and Ridgefield Symphony Orchestras. Over 20 years of experience teaching the flute, coaching chamber music, directing festivals and camps, and performing with a variety of different musical organizations, Leslie was led to realize that her true passion is using music to reach children and families at the most basic level while helping to stimulate cognitive, physical, emotional & social development, nurturing the bond within a family and a community, and fostering a love of music to reach through the generations. Miss Leslie teaches all levels of Kindermusik at the Monroe studio and lives in Fairfield with her husband and daughter.
